Mages in worldbox include the white mage, evil mage, necromancer, druid and plague doctor. They can all be found in the Creatures tab.

Spells[edit]
Spells are a special mode of attack unique to mages. Whenever a mage makes an attack, it will first try to perform a spell attack.
Most spells are "attack spells" - they are conjured during battle, and can cause damage to other units. However, some spells can also be conjured as part of the mage's routine tasks / behavior.

- They do not need to eat food
- Evil mages and white mages can teleport around your world
- Mages can use the blood rain power on themselves
- Mages are unable to attack, teleport, and use other mage-specific abilities when they are stuck in water.
- If a mage is slain the killer will receive the Mageslayer trait.
- Need Premium to spawn
- Can turn into most undead monsters
Mage Specific Info[edit]
Evil Mage[edit]
- Very aggressive, hostile towards most creatures
- Evil mages will sometimes summon medium sized lighting bolts.
- Evil mages can summon small tornadoes but this is quite rare.
- Can spawn naturally in the Wild Mage disaster, which can happen during all ages except hope
- Living trees will attack them
White Mage[edit]
- The white mage is much more peaceful and will only attack creatures that will be hostile towards them
- They can use a shield to protect themselves when being attacked (even though they don't have the bubble defense trait)
- Orcs dislike white mages
Druids[edit]
- They are peaceful towards most creatures similar to the white mage
- When they die plants and a tree will attempt to grow just like the elves
- Lil' Pumpkins and Druids are friendly towards each other
- Sometimes animals will follow them around
Necromancer[edit]
- Can spawn spawn skeletons which will follow them around. They can summon up to 7 skeletons
- They are friendly with all undead creature kingdom members (Skeleton, Jumpy Skull, Ghost, Zombie)
- Can give units the cursed trait
Plague Doctor[edit]
- They are peaceful towards most creatures similar to the white mage
- They can cast a curing effect that gets rid of infectious traits (they can not revert a unit that has turned into an undead unit back into a normal one)
- They can destroy tumor tiles by summoning fire.
- The plague doctor staff is the only staff that can be held by zombies (it is not a ranged weapon)
- They are friendly with all races except orcs

Trivia[edit]
- Evil mages, Necromancers and White mages were added in version 0.7.0 also known as the "Crabs and Sorcery" update
- Plague Doctors were added to the game in version 0.9.0
- Evil Mages dislike trees
- Blue Cast is also used by the White Mage, Druids and Plague Doctors
- Both turn into human zombies if they die with the infected trait
- Reaching level 30 on the worldbox discord gives you the plague doctor role
- Reaching level 35 on the worldbox discord gives you the druid role
- Reaching level 60 on the worldbox discord gives you the necromancer role
- Reaching level 65 on the worldbox discord gives you the mage role along with the "hrm" mage icon
- The File:IconAye10x.pngWhite Mage is used for the developer discord role
- Necromancers can spawn naturally during the Age of Dark and Despair from mines if the "Other Disasters" world law is enabled
- All turn into human zombies if they die with the infected trait
