Creature Hierarchy and Special Stats

Creature Hierarchy[edit]
Creature hierarchy is the way the game sorts types of creatures to make it easy for the developers to apply several characteristics to things without having to specify them each time a new creature is added to the game. For example: “Animal” is a creature type, one of its characteristics is that hunters can kill them for meat. Within the Animal creature type are other creature types like Carnivore and Herbivore which have their own special characteristics that go on to apply to actual creatures.
For the table below, creatures in lower stages of hierarchy inherit all the characteristics of higher stages unless specifically stated otherwise in lower stages. The inherited characteristics are not re-mentioned for each creature type. Individual creatures are also considered creature types but they are not listed in this table. The table below contains a lot of information that cannot all be explained here, if you are confused or have a question feel free to message AvoidBored (a wiki admin)!
