They love brains as displayed by their tendency to be lured by the Golden Brain. Though not strong as the mush, if the number of zombies is large enough they can become a serious problem for civilizations. For more info on undead monsters like Zombies see the Undead page.
Description[edit]
Zombie creatures are an undead version of various creatures present in-game. The stats of zombies will vary based on what they where before they turned. Some creatures don't have a zombie form.
Creatures are infected when zombies hit them and will turn into their zombie form after dying. You can tell if a creature is infected by seeing if they have the File:IconInfected10x.png"Infected" trait. Players can also manually give creatures the infected trait. Creatures with the File:IconImmune10x.png"Immune" trait cannot be infected.
Upon a civilized or humanoid creature turning into a zombie they will keep all of their armor, accessories and melee weapons if they had them before turning into a zombie, except any ranged weapons. Also, zombies will be damaged by the divine light power.

2019[edit]
- Zombies were added in the 0.1.43 update, initially.
- In the 0.1.59, they were fixed.
- In the 0.2.104, zombies they got stronger.
- In the update 0.4.141, units can be infected by zombies, and they were fixed.
2020[edit]
- In the Crab Update (0.5.167), a new element called zombie infection was added to the game.
- In the Boat Update (0.6.187), they added new zombie types for the four races.
- In the Xmas 2020 Update (0.6.189), new types of zombies for animals were added to the game.
2021[edit]
- Zombies could hold weapons including bows in version 0.9.0, this was removed in version 0.9.1 (a day after 0.9.0).
Trivia[edit]
- When infected children die they instantly "grow up" when they turn into a zombie.
- When the dragons turn in zombies they will have 2 new traits.
- When a unit converts into a zombie a "un" is placed at the start of their name
- You can make a "zombie farm" if you use ice towers to constantly spawn cold ones that get killed by zombies
- Zombie dogs have the "eye patch" trait by default
