Statuses are temporary effects a unit can obtain through various means. Sometime status effects may last shorter than normal depending on their source. Currently there are only 12 unique statuses.

Status Tiers[edit]

Statuses are classified into two tiers: Basic and Advanced. The tier of a status determines which creatures can and cannot receive that status.

  • Basic tier statues include - caffeinated, enchanted, invincible, rage, powerup, slowness
  • Advanced tier statues include - cough, ash fever, burning, frozen, poisoned, shielded

Different creatures allow different tiers of statues:

  • None - these creatures cannot receive any statues. Includes crabzilla.
  • Basic - these creatures can only receive Basic tier statues, but not advanced tier statuses. Includes UFOs, dragons, boats, fire elementals, god fingers and tornadoes
  • Advanced - these creatures can receive Basic and Advanced tier statuses. Includes all creatures apart fro those mentioned above.

Trivia[edit]

  • The status system was added in the Crabs and Sorcery update
  • The enchanted status replaced the effect for the Enchanted Biome (it originally gave the blessed trait)
  • The swamp biome before the STEAMy Update used to be able to give unit the slowness status
  • The description for the invincible status seems to be cut off, with the full description possibly being 'He just is invincible'. The cut off could be a reference to the show Invincible where the title card appears when cutting off someone as they are about to say invincible
  • A unit can have up nine statuses at once:
