Description[edit]

The Bonfire is the starting building of a village for every race and they give +3 max houses. They act as the centers of culture and villages and a village can only have one. Bonfires cannot be "abandoned" by a village - i.e. when they are no longer within village boundaries, they are destroyed immediately. When a culture-less unit settles and founds a new kingdom, the bonfire the unit builds will generate a new culture. When a kingdom sends settlers to form new villages, bonfires mark the points where the culture can spread from.

Bonfires can also continuously generate biome-specific food, based on a tile chosen randomly from all the tiles which it is placed on, similar to town halls. They also limit what can be built in a village as many buildings require a campfire to be constructed.
