All insects don't require premuim to be spawned, they also do not need food.

Insect Specific Info
Beetles, Grasshoppers, Flies, and Butterflies
These bugs mostly just wander around peacefully.
Bees
Bees cannot be directly spawned by the player instead they come from beehives. Beehives can spawn up to 5 bees and have 100 health.
Bees will fly towards nearby flowers, and pollinate the tile, which occurs every 0.8-2 months. After pollination, they return to the beehive. Every 6 times a tile is pollinated, a new flower is spawned.

Trivia
- All bugs were added in version 0.5.161, also known as the "More Bugs Edition!"
- There is an unused beehive that has honey in it. There is also a hidden honey food. "honey" is mentiond once in the changelogs "fixed: invisible units - found these guys and trapped them with honey" - 0.7.2
- Orcs will attack beehives
- "Flying insects" - which includes bees, flies and butterflies - are not saved when you save the game.
- Reaching level 3 on the worldbox discord gives you the grasshopper role
- Reaching level 5 on the worldbox discord gives you the butterfly role
- Bugs used to turn into chickens on death in water until this was fixed in version 0.5.167
