Religions will spread through conversations, books, and other means (like napping). Most [[File:PawSymbol10x.png|frameless|28x28px]][[Subspecies News|subspecies]] will be able to develop their own religion if they have the [[File:BrainGlassesS10x.png|frameless|28x28px]]"Advanced Hippocampus" trait. Followers of religions will be able to get passive traits, [[Mages|spells]], and mystical rites (as [[Plots/Plans|plots]]). Some magical spells will require mana to cast. Mana has been speculated to be symbolized with a [[File:NewsblueFlame10x.png|frameless|28x28px]]blue flame. Religious development will be influenced by the species and [[:Category:Biomes|biome]] it rises from. Some will be able to unlock devastating powers like meteor showers and lightning to call down on their enemies, but sometimes rituals can bring disaster to the world itself. Usually only clan members will be able to utilize the magical powers a religion grants if the religion has the [[File:ReligionTrait BloodlineBond.png|frameless|28x28px]]"Bloodline Bond" trait. You can also prevent certain [[File:IconClanList10x.png|frameless|28x28px]][[Clan News|clans]] from using magic with the [[File:ClanTrait VoidBan.png|frameless|28x28px]]"Void Ban" clan trait. But, magic isn't just going to be limited to religion. Some species will be born magical by their very nature and we will be able to influence that. For example, we can create things like a GMO [[turtle]] species that can control wind, summon fire, multiply like [[Herbivores|rabbits]], and live for thousands of years.
