The wasteland colors are dominated by pastel green and dark green grass. Sometimes soil needs to be hit by at least two acid droplets/bombs to create the Wasteland Biome. One droplet/bomb removes the current biome, and the second adds the wasteland biome onto plain soil. Subspecies need Wasteland Adaptation to build here. Acid Game Description "Dissolves any ground"

Subspecies/creature traits only apply to subspecies/creatures that spawn in the biome. Culture & language traits only apply to cultures and languages that start in the biome. Not guaranteed to have these traits, selection is random

Flora

- File:IconFertilizerTrees10x.png Some trees are small with blobs of radioactive green liquid oozing out of them. The large trees have a thick large bottom trunk similar to the baobab tree of the savanna biome but with the some oozing green fluid inside of it. Before the beta wasteland trees could only grow on forest soil
- File:IconFertilizerPlants10x.pngPlants in the wasteland biome are small green grass and unlike trees are able to grow on plain wasteland soil. Herbs are the only food that can be gathered in this biome
Fauna
There are only two kinds of fauna in this biome; slimes and rats. The acid blob only spawns in the wasteland biome and is quite hostile, attacking anything in sight other than its own kind, rats, or rat kings. Rats also spawn in this harsh environment, eating small little plants around this biome. (X) is the amount before the beta

Trivia
- Added in version 0.12.02
- In version 0.14.0 crabzilla's death explosion was changed to prevent it from creating the wasteland biome
- It is the only biome that is not created with seeds (unless you count the beach biome or hill biome)
- The biome was made darker in the 0.50 to make it more distinguishable to the garlic biome
