Moods are a system in worldbox that slightly tweaks the behavior of a civilized creature. What food they eat entirely decides the mood of a person.

Mood Changes

The mood of a unit is dependent on their previous mood, and whether the food they have eaten is their favorite food:

  • If the unit's original mood is not "happy", after eating their favorite food, their mood becomes happy
  • If the unit's original mood is "happy", after eating any food (regardless of whether it is their favorite food), their mood becomes normal
  • If the unit's original mood is "normal", after eating a non-favorite food,
    • 20% chance for mood to become "sad"
    • 80% chance for mood to remain "normal"
  • If the unit's original mood is "sad", after eating a non-favorite food,
    • 5% chance for mood to become "angry"
    • 95% chance for mood to remain "sad"

Foods with a race icon in front of them are exclusive to that race and cannot be obtained by others
