More on Races[edit]
Each race has many unique characteristics that set them apart from each other. The Orcs are the most unique when it comes to appearance due to their green skin but that's not the only thing that sets them apart.
Appearance[edit]
Appearance is probably the first thing you notice when comparing the four races. Each have unique sets of clothes and "heads" that other races don't have.
The clothing of races depends on the culture they belong to. Each race has 10 clothing sets, and each set includes male clothing, female clothing, and warrior clothing. When a culture is created, it randomly selects one of the clothing sets as its characteristic set. If a civ unit currently does not belong to any culture, it uses the first set of clothing by default. (See All Race Variants (clothing) below).
Each race also has a number of hairstyle - hair color combinations. Humans have 11 combinations while other races have 7. Kings, leaders and warriors of each race also have their own unique "heads".
Architecture[edit]
While all races have the same building types, each race also has its unique architectural style to help differentiate their kingdoms - orcs have more primal style buildings while Humans have more traditional ones.
Behavior[edit]
Every race will behave differently in select situations. Orcs are the most aggressive. Elves are friendly with mobs and nature. Dwarves are safe around crystal monsters and get the miner trait. Humans are the most basic with the least quirks.
Stats & Traits[edit]
All the races have different stats and traits they will start with once they are born/spawn. Orcs are one of the strongest races (when looking at stats) and come with multiple traits while humans are more balanced stat wise compared to other races and usually start with zero traits.
All races have 4 "civil stats" called, diplomacy, warfare, stewardship, and intelligence. When spawned by the player each race will get 6 "stat points" which will "randomly" assign themselves to one of these 4 stats. Units will gain one more point toward civil stats every three years until age 100.
- Humans don't favor any civil stat
- Elves prefer intelligence and a little less so diplomacy
- Dwarves heavily prefer stewardship and warfare a little over other civil stats
- Orcs heavily prefer warfare and stewardship a little over other civil stats
All Race Variants (clothing)[edit]
Out of the 10 clothing versions for each race one is randomly selected when a culture is formed.
