Description

The Corrupted Brain is a power and a building located within the Other Various Powers Tab. Most creatures will attempt to destroy the building. The building itself appears as a purple brain connected to tree-like roots which pulse. Its "counterpart" is the Golden Brain.

The Corrupted Brain, when placed down will act similarly to a Flame Tower, in the sense that it shoots projectiles at targets to defend itself. The projectile the corrupted brain fires is called a "Madness Ball". It is a purple ball that applies the madness trait when it hits a unit, it will also fling the effected unit and deal 1 damage to them. Once units have the madness trait they will not be targeted by the corrupted brain or attack it.

Trivia

• Not related to the Corrupted Biome
• It can be destroyed with the life eraser power
• It will attack golden brains but won't deal any damage to them
• Flame towers launch red and orange projectiles (fireballs) that look like the corrupted brain's projectiles.
• The corrupted brain was added in version 0.5.167
• There is a diffrent texture for the corrupted brain (shown below). It is an old in-game texture that is no longer used.
