Description[edit]

The Ice Towers are large stone structures with a tall door surrounded by snow and varying-sized ice spikes with a large ice spike atop the tower. It is commonly seen as the counterpart of the Flame Tower despite it not being nearly as powerful.

Ice Towers, when placed, will spawn Cold Ones every 2 months; each tower can have a maximum of 5 at the same time. The cold ones will attack nearly all creatures except each other and other Ice Towers. Ice towers will also slowly freeze the area around them. The tiles that are converted into there frozen versions can melt over time even if the ice tower is active unless the Age of Ice or Despair is enabled.

Trivia[edit]

  • The Flame and Ice Tower were added in version 0.5.161.
  • There is are blue fire balls in the game files but they are unused. It is possible that these were meant for the Ice Tower as the Flame Tower can shoot projectiles.
