Madness is a power and a trait that can be given to any unit in Worldbox. The power is found within the Other Various Powers tab. It can also be given to a unit by the Madness disaster, when the Other Disasters World Law is enabled. When the power is used on a unit, it grants them the madness trait. Units with the madness trait will attack anything that can be damaged (buildings, other units, etc.). Civilized units with the madness trait will abandon their village and kingdom, and their clothing will turn red. The madness trait grants the following stats: +1 Damage, +5 Speed, +10 Attack Speed, -100 Diplomacy, and -100 Loyalty. A unit with madness restores (max health/15) + 1 when they get a kill. Madness can be cured with the divine light power. Units can also be immune to the madness if they have the strong minded trait. == In-Compatible Creatures == Some creatures have a hidden stat that causes them to instantly die (even if the game is paused) by the game dealing 100 million damage to them if they receive the madness trait because it breaks their logic: * Dragon * God Finger * Langton Ants * Printer * Sand Spider * Worm * Chicken Egg * Crab Egg * Turtle Egg * Boats == Trivia == * You can have a non-leader unit with leader robes if you use madness power on a leader. * Reloading your game can sometimes cause units with madness to become pacified. They can join kingdoms and will not attack anyone, basically acting as if they donβt have the trait. * Units can survive a hit from the "Madness" trait if they have 99% armor (max) and 1,000,001 health (not achievable in normal gameplay). The less armor a unit has the more health they would need to survive a hit, 100,000,001 health is needed if a unit has no armor.
