[[Culture Development|Cultures]] are being revamped in the next update. The tech system will be reworked and have more diversity! They will now have their own trait editor.

== What are Cultures like Right Now? ==
Cultures currently functions as a tech progression system and is relatively basic compared to what were getting. Right now we cannot directly edit the techs culture's have or unlock. After a long enough period of time cultures will pretty much be the same as they will eventually unlock almost all the same techs. They max out pretty quickly and just fade into the background.  Culture advancement speed is currently determined by intelligence of village leaders, other units have no affect on the speed. See the [[Culture Development|Cultures]] page for more info.

== What will Cultures be like in the Update? ==
Cultures have been heavily revamped for the update and will be much more interesting. They will now have their own trait editor where you can adjust how cultures affect civilizations from weaponry, royal succession with [[File:IconClanList10x.png|frameless|28x28px]][[Clan News|clans]], and more!  Currently we have our seen three culture traits fully revealed. Most [[File:PawSymbol10x.png|frameless|28x28px]][[Subspecies News|subspecies]] will be able to develop their own culture if they have the [[File:BrainGlassesS10x.png|frameless|28x28px]]"Advanced Hippocampus" trait. They are all succession traits showcasing how we can decide between Matriarchy and Patriarchy, Diplomacy and Warrior prowess. Cultures have also had it's ui revamped also with cultures and their traits now being depicted rugs instead of scrolls. The ways culture spread is also being updated.
