Editing Alliances

Alliances in [[WorldBox|worldbox]] are formed when the [[Plots/Plans|plan/plot]] "planning alliance" is completed. Alliances are both for mutual defense and mutual attack. Currently there is no way for players to force an alliance between kingdoms.

Alliances have many "moving" parts and can have large effects on kingdom interaction.

===General Info===
This is information is found at the top of the alliance menu (Accessible from the "Civilization" tab)

*Name - An editable name for the alliance found at the very top of the alliance info box.
*Alliance Icon/Symbol - Editable icon/symbol of the alliance. This icon is shown on the map when viewing the "Alliance Layer" map mode.
*Founder - King of founding kingdom when the alliance was created.
* Founder Kingdom - Shows the kingdom that founded the alliance
* Founded - Shows the date that the alliance was founded.

Info Bubbles are found at roughly the middle of the Info box.

Ex. Kingdom A and Kingdom B are in Alliance A. Kingdom C declares war on Kingdom B, because of the fact Kingdoms A and B are in the same Alliance, Kingdom A joins the war on Kingdom B`s side. This applies to offensive wars if Kingdom B were to declare war on Kingdom C, Kingdom A would join the war due to being in the same alliance.

'''Dissolution''' - The peaceful ending of an alliance through planning

Any kingdom within an alliance can begin planning a dissolution of an alliance. This will end the whole alliance not just remove one kingdom. This mechanic helps to balance alliances when they grow to large by not allowing them to be too powerful over other kingdoms. If this wasn't the case and single kingdoms could leave an alliance it would be likely for the alliance to declare war on the now allianceless kingdom.

* Costs 1000 [[influence]] to be the founder
* Costs 500 to join an alliance (free if kingdom joins alliance during creation)

* Allies will usually be close to each other
* If the alliance loses all supporters or founder enters a war then the plan cancels
* If [[Kingdom Opinions|opinion]] of founder kingdom changes to 0 or below supporters will leave the plan. Other kingdoms also will not join if they have a 0 or less opinion of founding kingdom.
