=== Unit Attack ===
When a dragon is attacked by a unit, the unit is listed as an attack target. A dragon can have multiple units as attack targets at the same time. 

When attacking, the dragon will preferentially attack the unit closest to it. It has two types of attack:

* '''"Land attack"''' - if the target unit is within dragon's land attack range, the dragon performs a "land attack". It lands down on the terrain and creates a hemisphere of fire with a radius of ~ 9 blocks.
* '''"Slide attack"''' - if the target unit is not within the dragon's land attack range, but is within the slide attack range, the dragon performs a slide attack, breathing out a line of fire 4 tiles in width and 35 tiles in length, also gaining the invincible [[Unit Statuses|status]] for 5 seconds. This attack is performed only when flying, and dragons can use this attack to the left or right. Additionally, for every tile within the slide attack range which has a unit on it, the dragon has a 50% chance to perform an additional slide attack; therefore it is common to see dragons slide multiple times when attacking.
Creatures with Fire Proof [[Traits|trait]] will still take damage from dragon attacks.

Turning on the "ShowDragonTargetting" option in the [[Debug Menu|debug menu]] highlights the land attack range and slide attack range (left / right) of dragons in different colors.
