These include: ** The animal's hunger level is β₯ 80. (Note that when spawned, animals have a default hunger value of 79) ** The animal has reached reproductive age, which is 3 years for most animals and 6 years for rhinos ** Reproduction cooldown has run out. The reproduction cooldown is a random value between 8 and 16 months. * The following limits have not been reached: ** There are not more than 30 units of the same species in the entire map ** The number of units in the animal's current chunk and adjacent chunks must be less than 6 (less than 4 for rhinos) ** There are less than 4 units of the same species within adjacent chunks.
